Job Title: Registered Nurse - Neurosciences

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neurosciences team in Arlington, Virginia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in our Neurology department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient health assessments and develop individualized plans of care
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and achieve desired outcomes
  • Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's of Science Degree (BSN) or Associate's Degree with a commitment to obtain BSN within five years
  • One year of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in a hospital setting
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Virginia
