Job Title: Registered Nurse - Neurology

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neurology team in Arlington, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Neurology department. As a Registered Nurse, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide immediate and long-term nursing care needs of patients receiving ECT/TMS/Ketamine within the standards of the department, hospital, and regulatory agencies.
  • Work within the treatment team to provide pre-treatment assessment, treatment monitoring, and post-anesthesia recovery management for individuals.
  • Use multiple data sources to determine actual/potential health issues, functional status, and safety concerns, and communicate patient condition and need for altered care with the treatment team.
  • Establish a therapeutic alliance with assigned patients, initiate and continue pulse oximetry, oxygen saturation, and EKG monitoring throughout treatment and recovery.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
  • No experience required, one year medical/psychiatric experience preferred.
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • All employees must possess basic computer skills to use a variety of electronic or online systems for communication, clinical, and administrative purposes.
