Job Summary:

The Behavioral Health Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating mental health and substance abuse services for our patients. This includes developing and implementing treatment plans, providing direct care, and collaborating with other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health and substance abuse issues
  • Provide direct care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Coordinate services with other agency Behavioral Health Coordinators and staff
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation, billing, and program audit support
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in social work or counseling from an accredited program
  • Active and unrestricted AZBBHE licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Three years of specialized experience in mental health and/or substance abuse with diverse populations
  • Experience working with underserved populations is preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two years of prior supervisor experience related to behavioral health
  • Behavioral Health Board clinical supervisor training completed and up-to-date
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
