We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team in Northern Virginia. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammographic examinations and providing patient care with a focus on safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct mammography procedures, including screening and diagnostic exams, to ensure accurate and timely results.
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate and timely reporting of results.
- Maintain and operate mammography equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Educate patients on mammography procedures and breast health.
- Document patient information and imaging results accurately.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Education: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Certification: Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with a Mammography (M) certification.
- Experience: Previous experience in mammography preferred.
