This is an employed position with Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists, offering a unique opportunity for a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of cases.
The Position Highlights include:
- Employed position with Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists.
- Care team model covering approximately 9,200 cases each year, including 1,500+ deliveries.
- 8 anesthesia locations at SNVMC, featuring modern equipment and a dynamic team.
- Cases include general surgery, bariatrics, plastics, urology, vascular, neuro, orthopedics, ENT, podiatry, OB/GYN, and general peds.
- Call is 1:5, with night and weekend call from home via beeper and post-call day off.
- CRNA support is available 24/7.
Compensation and Benefits include:
- Annual base salary - $535,000.
- Quality Performance Incentive - $15,000.
- Sign on/Commencement Bonus - $90,000 over 3 years.
- Annual CME Allowance - $7,500.
- 10-weeks Paid Annual Leave.
- Comprehensive Benefits Package, including medical, dental, vision, short/long-term disability, and two retirement plans with Sentara contribution.
- Paid Malpractice and Tail Insurance.
- PSLF Eligible - Sentara is not-for-profit.
