Job Summary:

The Senior Transaction Advisory Services Director will oversee all aspects of the Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) Centers of Excellence to support the overall delivery of the national TAS strategy at DaVita. This leadership role will lead new business origination efforts and support multiple client engagement teams while maintaining key client relationships.

A qualified candidate should have excellent leadership and technical skills, be results-oriented, and have a tenacious work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all functions of the TAS Center of Excellence
  • Lead new business origination efforts
  • Coordinate cross-selling opportunities across BDO service lines
  • Oversee client engagement teams to ensure effective and efficient delivery of quality services
  • Lead complex deal-related issues and provide appropriate insight into deal-specific matters
  • Oversee the full spectrum of transaction advisory work in multiple engagements
  • Enforce standards for quality and consistency and bring sophistication to client engagements
  • Coach and mentor staff in key areas, including detailed due diligence, critical decision-making, report writing, and project management
  • Ensure client expectations are met, maintain client relationships, and identify and resolve client issues/concerns
  • Leverage BDO's firm-wide capabilities beyond TAS during client engagements
  • Assist in identifying risks and issues related to the transaction and effectively communicate to clients
  • Oversee the development of proposal documents and conduct presentations in pursuit of acquiring new clients
  • Partner with management members of BDO offices to identify and promote the services of the Transaction Advisory Services practice to existing and prospective clients
  • Provide verbal and written performance feedback to TAS team members throughout the fiscal year and as part of the annual performance review process

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent required
  • MBA desirable
  • At least ten years of prior financial statement-related professional services experience, of which at least five years has been spent in a dedicated TAS environment
  • Carve-out experience desirable
  • Prior experience interacting and working directly with C-level personnel, preferred
  • Big 4 or other top-tier consulting firm experience, preferred
  • CPA, preferred
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills required

Compensation:

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

Salary Range:

$250,000 - $400,000
