At South Central LA Regional Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medicaid Waiver Manager to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Medicaid Waiver program, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. This includes supervising staff, coordinating benefit programs, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Federal Revenue Coordinator, enabling the State to receive federal funding and ensuring program compliance.
  • Supervise Medicaid Waiver Specialist staff and nurse consultants.
  • Coordinate all state and federal benefit programs for SCLARC consumers.
  • Assist with annual HCBS waiver enrollment, recertification, and termination of Medicaid waiver eligibility.
  • Maintain CDER data integrity, review billable services, and reconcile Medicaid waiver data.
Requirements
  • An RN with a BA/BS degree in nursing from an accredited college/university and a California Public Health Certification or a master's degree from an accredited college/university in social work, human services, public health, public administration, or related field.
  • A valid California Driver's License.
  • Five years of related experience and/or training in federal and state benefit programs, developmental disabilities, ICD9-CM diagnostic criteria, and medical conditions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary clinical and case management teams.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Estimated Salary Range

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
