Customer Retention Marketing Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Customer Retention Marketing Specialist to join our team at BrainPower.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive email and SMS marketing strategy that drives revenue growth, customer engagement, and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute targeted email and SMS campaigns to acquire and retain customers
- Write compelling copy and design high-quality emails that align with brand messaging
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and implement strategies to increase customer lifetime value (LTV)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement email and SMS capture pop-ups, and A/B test them to optimize conversion rates
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in email marketing, and apply this knowledge to improve campaign effectiveness
- Manage multiple email service providers, including Klaviyo, SendLane, and ActiveCampaign
- Ensure compliance with spam and TCPA regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in email marketing or a related field
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and customer engagement through targeted email and SMS campaigns
- Strong understanding of email marketing principles, including list management, segmentation, and personalization
- Excellent writing and design skills, with the ability to create compelling copy and visually appealing emails
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with email service providers, including Klaviyo, SendLane, and ActiveCampaign
What We Offer:
Competitive salary: $65,000 per year, plus potential for equity benefits as we grow. Two to three accounts to start, with opportunities to expand up to eight accounts as we succeed. Collaborative environment with a team of graphic designers and developers to help you design and implement emails. Continuous education and training opportunities to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
Location:
This is a remote position, but occasional on-site meetings may be required. The ideal candidate will be based in the United States.
