About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Golf Course Mechanic to join our team at BrightView. As a Golf Course Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of small engines, maintaining accurate information and reports of services, and performing minor maintenance and repairs on hydraulic and electric components of equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and filter replacements
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues
- Repair and maintain cutting units, including adjusting heights and making minor reel adjustments
- Relocate equipment via truck and trailer within the region
- Ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely at all times
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Effective communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Valid Driver's License and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Physical demands of the job include regular heavy lifting, moderate noise levels, and occasional exposure to outside weather conditions
