Position Overview:
We are in search of a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong passion for automotive components to fill the role of Parts Supervisor on a permanent basis.
This position offers a remarkable opportunity to contribute significantly to a leading dealership's operations.
The ideal candidate will oversee the complete functioning of the Parts Department, which includes managing inventory, collaborating with the service team, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
A deep knowledge of OEM truck components and dealership operations, along with a solid background in parts management, is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Parts Supervisor, your duties will encompass but are not limited to:
- Managing the operations of the parts department to ensure peak performance.
- Overseeing parts inventory, including tracking stock levels, ordering required components, and maintaining precise records.
- Working closely with the service department to guarantee parts availability for service tasks.
- Processing warranty claims and ensuring adherence to manufacturer warranty guidelines.
- Delivering exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Formulating and executing strategies to enhance parts sales and profitability.
- Training and guiding a team of parts department personnel to ensure effective operations.
- Engaging with manufacturers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to foster positive relationships and ensure a consistent supply of parts.
Qualifications:
To qualify for the Parts Supervisor position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in parts management, ideally within a dealership setting.
- In-depth knowledge of OEM truck components and familiarity with warranty procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a parts department, including inventory oversight and staff management.
- Outstanding customer service abilities, with a focus on efficiently resolving issues and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the capacity to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in parts management software and other relevant computer applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Aptitude for building and sustaining positive relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders.
