Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals across various industries.

About the Role: As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for executing, coordinating, and overseeing administrative purchasing and inventory planning functions. You will create purchase orders, manage inventory levels, and work closely with inter-departmental teams to execute and release purchase orders.

Salary and Benefits: This full-time position comes with a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory control, with a valid Texas Operator's License, Class C. Preferred qualifications include an Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, plus 2 years industry-related experience. You should also possess strong negotiation, decision-making, and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office products and databases.

Responsibilities: Your key responsibilities will include maintaining purchase order data, preparing purchase orders, assisting in securing and analyzing quotations, negotiating prices and terms with suppliers, and managing weekly order status reporting.
