The successful candidate will provide direct patient care, in collaboration with consulting physicians and the multidisciplinary health team, to include identification, management, and/or referral of health problems.", "Responsibilities": "\u2022 Provide direct patient care and formulate plan of care in collaboration with physician, nursing staff, and the multidisciplinary health team in accordance with privileges approved by the Credentials Committee.\u2022 Communicate follow-up plan/disposition with the follow-up health care provider.\u2022 Prescribe and evaluate pharmacological therapies according to protocol.\u2022 Attend both high and low risk deliveries as needed.\u2022 Stabilize and transport patients as needed.\u2022 Demonstrate in-depth understanding of current professional and legal trends, concepts, and issues related to practice.\u2022 Identify educational needs of family members and assist with teaching as appropriate.\u2022 Ensure that appropriate systems and resources are in place to maintain established standards of care.\u2022 Participate in self and peer evaluation to improve quality of care.\u2022 Participate in the development, review, and evaluation of policies and procedures.\u2022 Participate in developing and implementing QI monitoring.\u2022 Participate in providing in-service and outreach education program.\u2022 Act as resource for clinical skills for staff on or of the unit.\u2022 May participate in clinical research projects conducted by supervising physicians.\u2022 Serve as preceptor to APP students.\u2022 Interprets assessments, treatments, outcomes, work and disability status, and screenings in a thorough manner.
