Job Overview

Summary/Objective

The Warranty Administrator is responsible for performing a range of administrative duties associated with vehicle warranties, ensuring seamless operations within the dealership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coding and entering warranty claims into the dealership's automated system.
  • Processing warranty paperwork to verify factory or distributor criteria.
  • Reviewing and correcting warranty claim errors.
  • Administering warranty parts identification and disposal.
  • Maintaining effective working relationships with Service and parts Departments.
  • Booking and coding warranty internal repair orders.
  • Staying up-to-date on factory recalls and announcements.
  • Reconciling warranty receivables and collaborating with the accounting department for payments.
  • Handling rejected claims according to dealership and manufacturer specifications, and following up on outstanding claims.
  • Maintaining service and customer records as required by the warrantor.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills.
