  • Uphold and embody the company's core values in all interactions.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and in a friendly manner, including various payment methods.
  • Greet customers upon entry and exit, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Verify the accuracy of merchandise quantities, descriptions, and pricing during transactions.
  • Manage returns and exchanges efficiently.
  • Answer phone inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Handle payments for commercial accounts and assist with credit applications.
  • Complete and organize due tickets for customer pickups.
  • Count down cash registers, prepare deposits, and maintain an organized workspace for the next day.
  • Utilize credit and check verification systems in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure efficient handling of paperwork and documentation related to daily operations.
  • Assist customers in locating items and collaborate with team members for additional support.
  • Maintain responsibility for cash handling and adhere to security measures to protect company assets.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude towards customer service at all times.
  • Follow all register procedures and maintain store cleanliness.

Safety & Loss Prevention:

Possess a working knowledge of security measures and remain vigilant against potential theft or fraud. Adhere to safety guidelines and participate in regular safety meetings.

This position is hourly and non-exempt from overtime. While there may be opportunities for advancement, this role does not guarantee career progression. The job description is intended to provide a general overview of the responsibilities and duties required.
