About the Role

Arlington Heights Ford/Tasca Auto is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven BDC Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating business and driving sales through effective communication and relationship-building with customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Communicate effectively with customers and prospects through phone, email, and in-person interactions to build rapport and understand their needs.
  • Sales Support: Assist customers in scheduling a visit to select a vehicle and provide sales support to ensure a seamless buying experience.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Confirm customer appointments and follow up to ensure timely visits and successful sales outcomes.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of sales efforts.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics, including making a minimum of 110 calls per 6-hour shift.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in sales or customer service.
  • Team Player: Excellent team player with a collaborative attitude and eagerness to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Communication Skills: Pleasant, engaging, and professional phone manner, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Strong PC and internet skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
  • Professional Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Time Management: Arrive on time and manage time effectively to meet sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Adaptability: Ability to follow instructions, receive feedback, and adapt to changing sales strategies and market conditions.
