Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist I to join our team at Quest Diagnostics in Redmond, OR. As a Phlebotomist I, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients, administering oral solutions, and performing various laboratory tasks.
Responsibilities- Collect blood specimens from patients in a safe and efficient manner.
- Administer oral solutions to patients as required.
- Verify patient information and test orders using lab technology systems.
- Process specimens, including labeling, centrifuging, and preparing for transport.
- Perform non-patient facing duties, such as inventory management and sanitizing equipment.
- Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training, such as medical assistant or paramedic training, preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred in California, Nevada, and Washington.
- One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
- Competitive pay rate of $17.40+ per hour.
