About the PositionThe Automotive Assistant and Service Manager will be responsible for scheduling mechanics/technicians' work, ordering parts, and ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs. You will also be responsible for communicating safety and mechanical issues to the store manager and relating to customers. Basic supervisory/leadership skills are required to be fully effective in this role.
Responsibilities- Schedule mechanics/technicians' work and ensure efficient operation of the repair shop
- Order parts and ensure timely completion of jobs
- Communicate safety and mechanical issues to the store manager and relate to customers
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
To be eligible for this position, you must have at least 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, automotive repairs/maintenance, or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
