Job Description

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Proven experience in delivering virtual instruction to students with special needs.
  • Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and the ability to create and implement effective strategies and accommodations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and fellow team members.
  • Tech-savvy and proficient in utilizing virtual teaching platforms, educational software, and assistive technologies.
  • Passionate about fostering inclusivity, empathy, and respect within the virtual learning environment.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
  • Patience, flexibility, and a sense of humor are must-have qualities.
