Job Title: Special Education Paraprofessional

Richmond Community Schools is seeking a qualified Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team. The successful candidate will provide support to students with special needs in a classroom setting.

Job Summary:

The Special Education Paraprofessional will work under the supervision of a certified special education teacher to provide instructional support to students with special needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of special education principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide instructional support to students with special needs in a classroom setting
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher
  • Support students with daily living skills, such as toileting and feeding
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with students with special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Salary:

$15.04 - $15.95 per hour
