We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Working Lead to join our team at Skookum Aerospace Manufacturing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our HVAC technicians, ensuring that all installations, repairs, and maintenance are completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of HVAC technicians
- Ensure that all installations, repairs, and maintenance are completed to the highest standards
- Responsible for completing all assigned tasks, including installations, diagnosis, service, and repair of environmental control heating and air-conditioning units
- Responsible for documenting and reporting all quality control complaints
- Ensure safety procedures are adhered to, in order to maintain an accident-free environment
- Communicate with technicians, scheduler, and material coordinators throughout the repair processes
- Train new employees, assist in work assignments, set priorities, and evaluate employee performance
- Minimum of 8 years of HVAC experience
- HVAC and/or EPA certification required
- Must meet all North Carolina licensing requirements at a Master's or Journeyman's level or have a North American Technician Excellence (NATE) Certification or ESCO Institute HVAC Excellence Professional Level Technician Certification or be willing to successfully enroll in an accredited apprenticeship program
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
- Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time
