Job SummaryWe are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a customer-service-friendly environment. As a Registered Nurse at The Villages on MacArthur, you will be responsible for ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and service.
Responsibilities- Maintain appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
- Evaluate staffing pattern needed to meet the needs of the residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
- Administer medication/treatments as prescribed.
- Receive, transcribe, and implement physician's orders.
- Implement and evaluate care plans.
- Identify/secures equipment supplies.
- Direct/oversee subordinates.
- Participate in duty assignments.
- Organize/coordinate subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
- Oversee/monitor function and activities of subordinate staff.
- Evaluate staff performance and institute appropriate action discipline/training.
- Monitor's infection control compliance.
- Investigate/documents accidents/incidents.
- Current, valid licensure as a RN required.
- Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
- Management/Supervisory experience required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed.
- Strong written and verbal skills required.
