About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at the Richmond County School System. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing therapeutic interventions to students with speech and language impairments, while also collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.


Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students referred for speech and language services.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments.
  3. Provide therapeutic interventions to students in a group or individual setting.
  4. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to identify and address the speech and language needs of students.
  5. Assess student progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
  • Certification or Licensure: S-5 Teaching Certificate in Speech Language required.
  • Professional experience in speech language pathology preferred.
  • Experience in a K-12 environment preferred.
