Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Occupational Therapist to join our team as a contract School Occupational Therapist for the 2024-2025 school year. As a valued member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to work with an exceptional school district in Augusta, GA, providing vital support services to students with diverse abilities and needs.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized occupational therapy sessions to students with varying levels of ability and need
  • Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
  • Conducting thorough assessments and creating personalized treatment plans to address students' goals and objectives
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of one year of verifiable experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist within the last three years (including residency or clinical practicum)
  • A valid School Certified Occupational Therapist credential/license or in process in the state of practice
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
