Program Coordinator for Black Male Scholars Initiative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Coordinator to join our team at Essex County College. The Coordinator will be responsible for the effective coordination and management of the Black Male Scholars Initiative program and activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to the black male student population.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive minority male recruitment plan.
- Track key performance indicators to improve performance outcomes and adjust as needed.
- Collaborate with the College's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee to execute the ECC DEI plan.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive array of educational and cultural programming.
- Review the program's status regularly and present recommendations for resource needs and enhancements.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Extensive experience in program coordination, preferably in higher education at the community college level
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and interact effectively with stakeholders
- Ability to create and manage a program budget
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
