The Tactical ISR Engineer role encompasses systems and integration engineering for the Space Systems Command (SSC), specifically within the Tactical ISR Delta program office. The mission of SSC is to ensure persistent space awareness across all domains to deter, defend, and achieve success. Key focus areas include resilient Missile Warning/Tracking/Defense capabilities, advanced technology innovation, and the integration of various orbital capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:

- Possess strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a knack for creative and innovative solutions.

- Navigate outside traditional acquisition channels with ease.
- Utilize military applications of data for operational purposes:
- Apply commercial and national data for various operational uses.
- Conduct risk assessments and net assessments for combat commands.
- Implement ISR strategies to tailor intelligence production, mission planning, targeting, and communication support:
- Enhance processes by integrating sensor data into comprehensive data repositories, facilitating access for all communities.
- Shift focus from data ownership to data exploitation algorithms across the enterprise.
- Develop effective data dissemination and visualization methods to empower warfighters in managing large data sets.
- Preferred Experience: Knowledge in Radar Signal Processing, Electro-Optical IR Sensors, AESA Phased Array, and Synthetic Aperture Radar.
- Security clearance acquisition and maintenance is essential.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field (Master's preferred).
- Over 8 years of technical experience with Major Command (MAJCOM) organizations, including knowledge of requirements generation and program execution.
- Experience in developing initial test plans for non-Acquisition Category programs is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Space System Command procedures is advantageous.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are highly valued.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
Clearance Requirement: Top Secret/SCI eligibility
