About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Literacy/Instructional Coach to join our team at Rowland Unified. As a key member of our instructional support team, you will play a critical role in enhancing the literacy skills of our students and supporting teachers in implementing effective instructional strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instructional Coaching: Provide coaching and support to teachers to enhance their instructional practices and improve student outcomes.
- Professional Development: Design and deliver professional development opportunities for teachers to improve their literacy instruction and coaching skills.
- Curriculum Development: Collaborate with teachers and curriculum specialists to develop and implement high-quality literacy curriculum and instructional materials.
- Assessment and Data Analysis: Analyze student assessment data to inform instructional decisions and develop targeted interventions to support student growth.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree: A master's degree in Education, Literacy, or a related field is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional coaching, literacy education, or a related field is required.
- Skills: Excellent coaching and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with teachers and students.
