Varada Consulting, LLC is seeking a talented Reliability Engineering Specialist to enhance our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in maintaining the dependability and efficiency of our systems through automation and monitoring practices. You will work closely with diverse teams to implement industry best practices for secure and scalable infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for automation
  • Employing containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Collaborating with development and security teams to embed security protocols
  • Overseeing Source Code repositories and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Applying Site Reliability Engineering methodologies to design resilient systems
  • Monitoring system performance and proactively resolving issues
  • Enhancing system reliability through continuous improvements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering
  • Extensive experience with IaC, containerization, and CI/CD automation
  • Proficiency in container orchestration tools
  • Experience in a DevSecOps environment
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
  • Certifications in relevant technologies
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret clearance/SCI
