Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

Overview:
Veterans Enterprise Technology Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. This role will involve working on a rotating hybrid schedule, with 3 days onsite at JBAB and 2 days remote. An Active Top Secret SCI clearance is required for this position.

Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of our platform and containerized applications.
Identify and address potential performance and availability risks and issues proactively.
Contribute to the creation and optimization of our core platform infrastructure to ensure a robust and reliable system.
Collaborate closely with the team and customers on a daily basis.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, with a strong understanding of SRE principles for highly scalable and reliable systems.
Possess a bachelor's degree and an active TS//SCI clearance.
Proficiency in working within a DevSecOps environment, with experience using Source Code repositories and CI/CD pipeline solutions such as Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, and GitHub.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, Kubernetes K8, and CI/CD Automation.
Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Rancher and OpenShift.
Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently.
Availability to work on client site in downtown Washington, DC, at least three days per week.
