Job Summary:

The Season Ticket Retention Representative will provide exceptional customer service to the Tennessee Volunteers fan base, focusing on retaining season ticket sales and generating revenue through outbound/inbound phone calls, face-to-face meetings, and email marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retain season ticket holders for Tennessee ticketed sports, including Football, Men's Basketball, Volleyball, Women's Basketball, Baseball, and Softball.
  • Make a set number of calls per day, as determined by Associate A.D. and Assistant Director.
  • Accept telephone orders and enter ticket and donor information into the computer ticketing system for season, single, and post-season tickets.
  • Build relationships with current fans and prospects to determine the best ticket plan for their needs.
  • Generate daily edits of all entries, verify accuracy, and post entries.
  • Collaborate with other UTAD staff, including ticket operations, Tennessee Fund, marketing, and security teams.
  • Assist with security measures in the ticket office, following applicable policies and procedures related to security and accountability of tickets and revenue.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sport Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • One year of experience in sales, including internships and graduate assistant positions.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
