Job Description

**Job Summary**

Jobs for Humanity is seeking a skilled Remittance Processing Associate I to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth processing of customer payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare customer payments for processing and coordination of set-up and maintenance activities for the remittance processor and related equipment.
  • Perform research and adjustment activities, process exception items, and maintain inventory of remittance processing supplies.
  • Prepare outgoing collection notices for negotiable instruments, such as bonds, food stamps, and foreign items.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Considerable knowledge of remittance processing
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds

Working Conditions

This is an entry-level role that requires basic skills with moderate level of proficiency. The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of remittance processing and work under close to moderate supervision to ensure accuracy.
