Position Overview

The individual in this role will be tasked with the precise management of client payments, collection of fees, and the resolution of claims issues. Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify and acknowledge receipt of payments.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of outstanding client balances and report any collection challenges to management.
  • Ensure payment methods are up-to-date and utilize health insurance portals effectively.
  • Establish payment arrangements with clients for outstanding balances, monitor payments, and follow up as necessary.
  • Engage with clients regarding their appointment fees and available payment options.
  • Investigate claims and liaise with insurance providers to confirm proper processing or address denial reasons.
  • Collaborate with the Client Care Team to interpret Verification of Benefits (VOB).
  • Enhance the reputation of the billing department by taking ownership of responsibilities and demonstrating value.
