Job Title: Entry-Level Priority Care Specialist

HealthDrive Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Priority Care Specialist to join our team. As a Priority Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective procurement and follow-up on documentation required for products and services to be rendered to patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and request documents as needed for products and services
  • Effective follow-up on outstanding documentation, including outreach to insurance payers, primary care physicians, patients or responsible parties, and sales teams
  • Manage documents in queue to ensure all outstanding items are followed-up on appropriately, deadlines for service are met, and pipeline on DME items is efficient
  • Update computer system as required for documentation tracking, service delivery, and billing
  • Send necessary paperwork to providers for ordering of hardware items and scan original documents into the computer system
  • Coordinate and complete documentation mailings as necessary
  • Order DME items from labs as appropriate/required, including requesting documentation
  • Update managers/supervisors with feedback from customers to improve services or provide recognition of staff members
Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to follow up consistently and diligently, with a creative problem-solving approach
  • Highly organized and professional, with attention to detail
  • Comfortable speaking with providers, vendors, customers, and responsible parties as needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and navigate HealthDrive operating systems
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
Work Environment:

Office setting with a light to moderate noise level. The successful candidate will be able to sit for long periods of time, use office equipment, and lift up to 10 lbs occasionally.

To qualify for this role, the individual must have a minimum of an Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience.
