About the Role:

Bashas' is seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team. As a Bakery Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and decorating a variety of bakery products, including cakes, pastries, and breads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and decorate cakes and other bakery products to meet customer demands and company standards.
  • Operate bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and decorating tools.
  • Prepare and package bakery products for display and sale.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet sales goals and achieve company objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date on new products, trends, and techniques in the bakery industry.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as a cake decorator or in a related bakery role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
