Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Claims Follow-up Specialist to join our team at POM Recoveries. As a key member of our Client Billing Team, you will be responsible for resolving outstanding in-patient and out-patient facility claims not paid. Your strong knowledge of medical collections, denial processing, and EOB review will enable you to effectively follow up with insurance providers and resolve issues with unpaid claims.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed follow-ups with insurance providers to resolve outstanding claims
Investigate accounts requiring additional action and resolve issues with insurance companies
Respond to claim denials and verify reimbursements according to payer contracts
Utilize systems such as Cerner, EPIC, or A2K to correct and resubmit denied claims

Requirements:

2 years minimum experience in hospital in-patient and out-patient claims follow-up
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and self-motivated
Experience with insurance verification processes and carrier websites
