We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care/ICU/PICU/NICU Physician Assistant to join our team at WhiteCap Search. As a Critical Care Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough physical exams, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and procedural interventions.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management and self-care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Critical Care/ICU/PICU/NICU setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
