We're seeking a skilled Retirement Plan Counselor to join our team at Empower. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their long-term financial goals and providing personalized wealth management strategies.

About the Role

  • Develop strategic relationships with site contacts within your assigned territory to drive business results and lead impactful conversations.
  • Meet with participants virtually and conduct webinars to educate them on the features and benefits of our employer-sponsored Defined Contribution (DC) retirement plans and retirement readiness.
  • Work closely with internal business partners to deliver increased client value and act as the voice of the customer by relaying important client feedback to the appropriate Retirement Services area.

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial services or retirement planning.
  • The ability to satisfy service level agreements for the plan and achieve business results.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of mutual funds, separate accounts, and retirement planning concepts.
  • FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses are required.

  • A well-versed understanding of Deferred Compensation and Defined Contribution Plans.

Base Salary Range

$63,125.00 - $89,125.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances, a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.
