About the Role

Ash Brokerage is seeking a skilled Life Case Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the submission of life insurance applications, monitoring case progress, and providing ongoing status updates to financial professionals and their clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently manage the submission of life insurance applications to the appropriate carrier.
  • Monitor case progress, track down requirements, and provide ongoing status updates.
  • Review application information, including medical history, to proactively identify any issues that could present a problem.
  • Advocate and negotiate with insurance carriers on formal offers, as needed.
  • Educate yourself on the latest product offerings and industry developments, and educate advisors on those situations to help create new business opportunities.
  • Continuously look for ways to expedite and improve our processes and service.
  • Communicate via email and phone to advisors in conjunction with supporting their various cases and service needs.
  • Maintain positive relationships with agents and underwriters to ensure a positive experience.
  • Utilize web-based Agency Management System (AMS) to document, organize, manage, and transmit documents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, insurance, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to quickly learn internal and carrier software.
