Duke University Hospital seeks to hire a Clinical Nurse II who will embrace our mission of Transforming Lives Transforming Care. As a member of our Orthopedic Operating Room team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team of orthopedic surgeons, anesthesiologists, perioperative nurses, surgical technologists, and support staff.

The Orthopedic Operating Room at Duke University Hospital is a specialized surgical unit dedicated to providing advanced orthopedic care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology to support a wide range of orthopedic procedures, including joint replacements, spine surgeries, fracture repairs, free vascularized fibula bone graft (Free Fib) surgeries, sports injuries, and complex reconstructions.

As a Clinical Nurse II, you will be responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities. You will utilize the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department. We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, plus a 15% OR RN premium added to base pay. Additionally, you may be eligible for up to $25,000 student loan forgiveness from your first Nursing degree.
