About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Management Director to join our team at Vision Achievement. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our facilities engineering program and ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership to our facilities management department, ensuring alignment with our company's vision and mission.
  2. Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and operation of all buildings, equipment, machinery, systems, and groundskeeping, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  3. Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and manage construction and renovation projects, including design review, coordination with architects, and contract negotiation.
  4. Budget Management: Establish and manage budgets, control expenditures, and meet productivity targets within department and project constraints.
  5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, including TJC, OSHA, Life Safety, and local, state, and federal regulations.
  6. Emergency Preparedness: Maintain a constant state of readiness for emergencies, ensuring compliance with preparedness requirements, including Air/Water preparation and documentation.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of management experience in facilities management, engineering, or business/operations services, with a proven track record of leading facilities management teams.
  • Skills: Exceptional client relationship skills, strong technical knowledge of facilities systems, and experience with regulatory compliance.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to establish and manage budgets, control expenditures, and meet productivity targets within department and project constraints.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Entrepreneurial spirit with a strategic vision for department growth, long-range planning, and program development aligned with the overall goals of the health system.
