Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Guardian Electric Corp. As a key member of our commercial and industrial electrical contracting team, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems for a variety of commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Installation: Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to design and install electrical systems, including branch circuits and feeder systems.
  • Electrical Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and fixtures, including motors and control systems.
  • Tool Management: Maintain and store tools and equipment properly to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
  • Quality and Safety: Adhere to all quality and safety codes, including OSHA regulations, to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least two years of professional experience in electrical systems installation and maintenance.
  • Skills: Proficient with standard industry tools and techniques, familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals, and strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
