Job Summary:

The Park Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of park facilities and grounds. This includes supervising a team of maintenance staff, managing budgets, and ensuring that all park facilities are safe and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team of maintenance staff to ensure that all park facilities are maintained and repaired in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure that maintenance and upkeep of park facilities are completed within budget.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure that all park facilities are well-maintained and safe.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that park facilities are maintained and repaired in a way that meets the needs of park visitors and staff.
  • Ensure that all park facilities are compliant with safety regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • Valid California Driver's License (CDL) required.
  • Background Investigation clearance required.
  • Medical Clearance required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance and operations required.
Working Conditions:

The Park Maintenance Supervisor will work outdoors in various types of extreme weather conditions, including sub-freezing temperatures and high winds. The position also requires working at elevated heights and near fast-moving machinery or traffic.

Special Requirements:

  • Valid California Drivers License (CDL) required.
  • Background Investigation clearance required.
  • Medical Clearance required.
