Position Overview:
The Outpatient Infusion Nurse possesses expertise in Oncology, including the administration of chemotherapy, management of side effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, and pain management. Proficiency with port-a-caths and various venous access devices is essential.
Role Responsibilities:
This nursing professional employs the nursing process to deliver direct patient care while coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to respond effectively to assessment findings.
Qualifications:
- Nursing degree or diploma.
- Registered Nurse License in Washington State upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Experience in chemotherapy administration.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in Oncology.
