We are seeking a highly skilled Inpatient Clinical Nutrition Specialist to join our team at Intermountain Health. As a key member of our clinical nutrition team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Implement evidence-based nutrition interventions and monitor patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on nutrition-related topics.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical nutrition policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Food handler's permit and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 2,000 hours of experience and credentialed specialty certification, or 4,000 hours of work experience in the specialty area.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency and excellent communication skills.
- Master's degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Physical Requirements:
- Interact with patients and co-workers requiring verbal communication and understanding of spoken information.
- See and read labels, monitors, and documents.
- Operate computers and other equipment requiring manual dexterity.
- Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work.
