Fine Dining Host

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Host at The Surf Club Restaurant, where we celebrate classic Continental cuisine with a modern twist. As the first point of contact for our discerning guests, you will set the tone for their dining experience, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere that showcases our commitment to hospitality excellence.

As a Host, you will be responsible for warmly greeting guests as they arrive, managing reservations, and efficiently seating guests in the dining area. You will work closely with the Maitre D to ensure smooth operations and seamless guest experiences. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will shine through in your interactions with guests and colleagues alike.

• Greet and Seat Guests: Welcome guests with a smile, manage reservations, and seat guests in the dining area with ease.
• Manage Reservations: Utilize our reservation systems to book tables, coordinate seating arrangements, and accommodate special requests with a personal touch.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring every guest feels special.
• Coordinate with Team: Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to deliver seamless guest experiences and maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the host area and entrance are always clean and presentable, reflecting our commitment to excellence.
• Promote a Positive Atmosphere: Foster a welcoming environment that makes both guests and staff feel valued and appreciated.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a fine restaurant, preferably within a Michelin-starred establishment.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a hospitality-forward mindset.
• Attitude: A passion for food, beverage, and hospitality, with a desire to create memorable experiences for guests.
• Flexibility: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the dynamic nature of a fine restaurant.
