Job Summary

VH Maliha Wheeling Inc is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and healthy environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain guestrooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas to meet health standards.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and use approved chemicals to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Restock supplies, including linens, toiletries, and cleaning products, to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Sort, count, and mark clean linens, and store them in linen closets to maintain organization.
  • Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, and wax and polish as necessary to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Disinfect equipment and supplies using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers to prevent the spread of illness.
  • Observe and report any damage, theft, or found articles to supervisors to maintain a secure environment.
  • Meet productivity standards, completing 16 rooms per day as established by hotel management.
Requirements
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by meeting quality standards for services and evaluating customer satisfaction.
  • Physical Abilities: Possess the physical abilities to perform tasks that require considerable use of arms and legs, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
