- Process New Loan Applications: Implement effective strategies and techniques to ensure members have a positive experience with our credit union and our products and services at every touch point.
- Perform Loan Origination Activities: Accurately read, interpret, and apply financial and numerical information to the loan file, adhering to federal and state regulations, secondary market requirements, and our policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Focus on Phone Mortgage Origination: Utilize various lead sources, including referrals, call lists, phone queue, and self-generated leads, to maximize lead pull-through to closing.
- Develop Strong Relationships: Build rapport and develop constructive relationship networks inside and outside our credit union, focusing on phone mortgage origination and member service.
- Meet Production Expectations: Meet or exceed production expectations, serving members, prospective members, builders, developers, and real estate agents promptly and professionally.
- High School Diploma or GED: Required.
- Mortgage Origination Experience: 1 year of mortgage origination experience, or 2 years of mortgage banking experience or relevant lending experience in other roles, or an Associate's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, or Finance, or 3 years of analytical finance experience.
- NMLS Licensure: Highly preferred.
- Office Environment: Work in an office environment with little discomfort from noise, extreme temperature, dust, or other factors.
- Travel Requirements: Required to travel throughout our service area as business needs require.
- Physical Demands: Sit most of the time with brief periods of walking or standing, and may occasionally require lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
- Competitive Salary: $19.25 per hour.
- Variable Compensation Plan: Eligible to earn incentives as part of our variable compensation plan.
- Generous Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision benefits on your first day, with a 3% contribution from our credit union and a 100% match for the next 7% you contribute to your 401(k).
- Paid Time Off: 12 paid holidays and up to 120 hours of PTO your first year of service (pro-rated based on start date).
