We are seeking a dedicated professional with a minimum of 8 years of relevant SATCOM expertise and a Secret clearance. The role of WCS-6 SATCOM Subject Matter Expert (SME) is crucial in supporting our national defense initiatives.

Daily Activities
- Provide deployment, logistics, systems engineering, lifecycle sustainment engineering, integration, and production support for Department of Defense (DoD) and Navy-qualified systems and subsystems.
- Support various military branches and government programs, including the Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Army, Air Force, and Department of Homeland Security.
- Utilize technical documentation and troubleshooting resources to perform diagnostic and troubleshooting tasks.
- Mentor and train fellow staff members and personnel.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is dedicated to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $71,000 - $88,000 per year, with actual compensation determined by various legal factors. We prioritize the welfare of our employees and their families through a comprehensive benefits program, which includes healthcare benefits, paid leave, retirement plans, insurance programs, and education and training assistance.
Job Requirements
- Technical training in a relevant Technical/Engineering Field or formal electronics training from a technical school, Class A/B/C military school in electronics, and/or OEM WSC-6 system-specific training.
- A minimum of eight (8) years of hands-on experience with SATCOM Communications Systems, including at least five (5) years of direct experience.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience with WCS-6 Systems.
- Possession of a Secret Clearance.
