About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Analyst to join our team at Progression, Inc. as a Geospatial Data Expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining GIS web applications, analyzing spatial data, and providing technical support for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analytics, Development, and Administration: Enhance and maintain GIS web applications created for EFLHD, NPS, and other partners for viewing and analyzing GIS data.
  • Upgrade and Maintain Web Applications: Upgrade to the latest versions of Microsoft IIS, ArcGIS Server, and SQL Server to maintain web applications to the latest standards.
  • Visualization and Data Analysis: Maintain and enhance visualization projects to help the agency and its partners understand data in a better way.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support for Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other relational database systems.
  • Geodatabase Management: Create and manage Raster Catalogs, Geodatabases, and services for ArcGIS Server and Portal extension.
  • Development and Integration: Develop GIS web applications using ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, and VertiGIS, and create cross-platform integration and connectivity.
Requirements
  • Experience: 4-7 years as a GIS Analyst, with experience in ESRI ArcGIS/ArcPro, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Field Maps, Collector, Survey123, and Python scripting.
  • Skills: Knowledge of relational database architecture, administration, and management in Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, Oracle, Microsoft Access, and federal enterprise systems.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as GIS, Computer Science, or Geography.
