Nurse Care Specialist
As a Nurse Care Specialist with the State of Georgia, you will be responsible for assessing client health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and administering nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients. You will also advise clients on health maintenance and disease prevention, provide case management, and administer prescribed medications as ordered by a physician. Additionally, you will consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care plans.
Responsibilities:
Assess client health problems and needs
Develop and implement nursing care plans
Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients
Advise clients on health maintenance and disease prevention
Provide case management
Administer prescribed medications as ordered by a physician
Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse
Any related professional work experience
