Family Nurse Practitioner

MainStreet Family Care is a growing healthcare organization seeking a qualified Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Family Nurse Practitioner at MainStreet Family Care, you will have the opportunity to provide patient-focused care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced urgent care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care to patients of all ages, including children, adults, and geriatric patients
- Diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries, including colds, flu, strep, and COVID
- Perform minor procedures, such as toenail removal and foreign object removal
- Suture and splint injuries
- Review x-rays and provide general orthopedic evaluations and management
- Provide general dermatology and eye care
- Interpret EKGs and provide emergency management skills
- Treat children of all ages, including newborns and geriatric patients
- Provide occupational medicine and telemedicine services
Requirements:
- Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification
- MSN or higher education required
- DOT certification or willingness to become DOT certified
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite preferred
